The 2009 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 is an undeniable beast.
This Corvette stands nose to nose with other super cars at a fraction of the cost. The ZR1 produces 638 horsepower at 6500 RPM and 604 lbs. of torque at 3800 RPM. This neck snapping power stems from Chevy’s LS9 6.2L supercharged V8, not a V10, not a V12. Equipped with sequential fuel injection, a dry-sump oil system, Brembo carbon ceramic brakes, locking rear differential, and twenty inch spoke silver painted aluminum wheels, what more can you ask for? How about some carbon fiber? ZR1 comes equipped with visible carbon fiber roof, roof bow, rocker extensions and front air splitter. The Corvette also has a carbon fiber domed hood with a supercharger window. Everything about this car is designed with speed in mind right down to the aluminum frame with magnesium roof structure and engine cradle.
The 2009 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 is about the business of going fast and business is good.
